Talk me into or out of keeping Dobbins as my keeper for this year

New update. I actually can’t roll with Waller. I thought I could but he was kept last year by the person that traded him.
So now the question is do I keep Dobbins and save $25 or so bucks? I understand folks saying let someone else waste their money on him. But people will be wasting money on several players I’m sure. Will he five me enough over the season as a flex, or RB2 if I los up on elite WRs? Or keep Edmonds? I feel like I have more potential upside with Dobbins.
We have a $200 auction league. I can keep Dobbins at $5. Is this a no brainer yes, even though some people aren’t high on him? Then go ahead and spend big on one of the top RBs? Hypothetically CMC and Dobbins for $75/80 total?
My only other option really is Waller at $11 and Edmonds at $3.
I’m assuming Dobbins might go around the $30 range and give me the best value in savings. And I could use some of that leftover money to put towards a solid TE?

Well he was cheap last year because he was a rookie and nobody knew what he was going to do. But if he is cheap again this year, then that might not be so good.

Dobbins for only $5 is insane value. You’re getting a rock solid RB2 for only $5 whereas now he would probably cost AT LEAST $17-20.
And if Gus misses time then he could be a RB1

I think Waller is the better play as well but I have never played an auction league so I’m not sure how much a difference the extra $6 makes.
I’m not as high on dobbins as most. I am avoiding him unless he available at just insane volume. He will be a frustrating play all year between lamar and Gus

If I keep him, I’ll prob have him in the flex and hole he gives me RB2 return

I’d take Dobbins, personally. In your league, if you’re spending $15 on a RB/TE combo, I’d rather get a Dobbins/Logan Thomas combo than a Waller/Devin Singletary combo

Let someone else waste their $ on Dobbins. Waller went for $35 in my last auction (no TE premium), only because he waa nominated late. He is worth more than that with the VAR he offers at TE.
