Slow and steady wins the race. 5 players that won me my league last year.

My 5 picks for a consistent fantasy team that won't wow you but will definitely win you some games.

1) Frank Gore- everyone slept on him last year while I happily drafted him in the 6th round. Don't be scared to get the 34 year old starter who has done nothing but produce his entire career!

2) E Sanders- he was dinged up a bit, and had a slow start; but don't let that fool you when you are staring at him in the mid rounds. He can give you a goose egg some weeks; but his average weekly points scored will satisfy you if you are patient.

3) Jason Witten- another older vet who continues to produce year in and year out. With another year of Dak maturing in the Dallas offense; I expect similar numbers to 2016. Nothing wrong with waiting on the TE, while everyone else spends more for more for the sexier and younger picks.

4) Kenny Britt- I've been a fan of Britt since he was a Titan. He may be one of the more physically gifted WRs in the league. He's had some problems off the field, but looks to be a "shoe in" to match last year's numbers (D Thomas and T Pryor) since signing with the Browns. His ADP is at FIFTY among WRs, there is no risk drafting him late in the draft. He has missed one game, I think, in 3 years. Durable since blowing out his knee.

5) Larry Fitz- again, this guy will make you happy with how late you draft him. He may even confuse you some weeks as you consider matchups with other players on your team. But he will basically never go catchless or give you a goose egg. He is the true definition of consistency. And like Gore; has been doing it for years.

These are 5 guys that I will again target this year. 5 guys that helped me win a championship last year. Add in a freak like Blount (whom people on this board told me last year wouldn't even make the team) and it gives you some room to frick up those first few picks.
