I personally wouldn't do it unless you are stacked at RB. At pick 8 & 9 you will be looking at Trey Sermon, Elijah Moore, Bateman or maybe one of the Alabama WR's if someone reaches in front of you. If the picks were higher I'd think about it but at 8 and 9 I'd pass.

Mixon
Swift
Devin Singletary
Cook

Keenan Allen
Amari Cooper
Odell
DJ Moore
Michael Pittman
Allen Robinson

Planned to go RB heavy pretty much all draft

Definitely don't do that trade. With the core you currently have, you can add 1 of Chase, Pitts or Williams/ETN at 2 and whoever is left over of the top 7 (Alabama WR's most likely) or Sermon. Definitely keep Cook.

And our league now belongs to the guy who got Cook. Not salty, just frustrated

I just don't understand giving up a top 3-4 RB when your WR core is pretty good. People overvalue picks, especially late 1st.

Having AJ Brown for the next 7-8 years is awfully enticing.
He is an elite tier WR. Trading a RB with some mileage on the tires who is a consistent injury risk to get him is a smart move.

I'd rather Chase at 2 and keep Cook instead of Brown and 2 late 1st. Now he has Mixon (always hurt), Swift (Lions want to do RBBC) and Singletary. Yeah, he can draft RB's but good luck figuring out which one will be man. For Cook, I'd want a stud WR (AJ Brown meets this criteria) and a top 4 pick in this rookie draft. 8 or 9 is the same as 15 and 16 in this rookie draft imo (same tier players on my board).

I got Trey Sermon at 8 in my rookie draft. It's close, but in a dynasty format, I'd rather have Sermon and Brown than Cook.

If you'd rather have Cook than Sermon and Brown, I can't really argue against it. It's a personal preference thing (and also my projection that Sermon is going to be the best of the rookie RBs this year).

Chase will most probably go 1st in my draft. I fully expect him to be gone when I pick

Chase should go first in every dynasty rookie draft, especially in PPR leagues.
