Bonus heavy.
12 team league.

6 point passing TDs
5 point bonus for a TD pass 50-99 yards
1 point per 50 yards passing up to 250 yards
1 point for every 10 yards passing >250 yards
5 point bonus for 300 yards passing
12 points for a rushing TD by a QB

I'm considering Brees at #1.

Brees led the league in scoring LY: 484
Calvin Johnson was 2nd: 465
Brady was 3rd: 452
AP was next at 396

Thoughts?

Is this for real?

If so, yes, Brees.

I'd hold off and draft a rushing QB later in the draft.

I would go Rodgers then. I expect his passing stats to be similar to Brees, but he is more likely to score a rushing TD.

He dominated the league in 2011.

RG3 was the highest rated running QB LY at 392 before his injury.

Rodgers was at 342.

Yeah. I joined an existing league and this was the scoring system.

Similar bonus points everywhere else:
PPR
6 point rushing TDs (RBs)
5 point bonus for a rushing TD 25-49 yards
10 point bonus for a rushing TD 50-99 yards
1 point per every 10 yards rushing up to 120 yards
2 points per every 10 yards rushing >120 yards
12 point receiving TD by a RB

That's the most fricked up scoring I've seen in a league.

Standard or PPR are the only ones I'll join.

I scored 250 one week in my first year. Beat my opponent by 147 or so.

I would go Brees, even though he had over double the ints as Rodgers last year. Brees will still get you yards and tds.

I would take Rodgers if you get 12 pts per rushing TD. I mean Brees is gonna get his but Rodgers will go off to and will have 5 or so rushing TD's along with 38+ passing TDs.

My only worry about running QBs is that they are more susceptible to injury.

See: Vick, RG3, etc in recent years.

I had a steal in RG3 until he went down LY due to injury and my team crash and burned at that point.

What did Newton score in this league? I would figure with his rushing tds that he would be pretty good. I would probably draft AD with the first pick and try to get Newton later, if possible.

Newton was horrible LY @ 184 points.

He was very good 2 years ago, but it's impossible to project which Newton shows up in 2013.

Cam was a 1st round pick LY and could slide to me later, but it isn't a guarantee.

I'm thinking of picking someone else.

Megatron was #2 in overall scoring LY with only 6 TD receptions.

There are some serious bonus points for WR. I Megatron's 11-255 0 TD game in W16, he totaled 66 points in our league.

A QB like Kaepernick could slide to me at 24/25.
