Naw. I think this is a competing playoff team. That said, I'm not going to pass on a good deal either. I'm confident I can continue building and compete to win at the same time.

Just curious. Wasn't sure if you were one to get enamored with youth or were gradually selling off.
I looked and we have 8 teams over .500. LE and chowds are right there and will continue to fight. 10 teams still hunting will make for a nice 2nd half.

Hamilton coming back afforded me the chance to move a bat for a young slumping stud. Gaining Hamilton nullified losing Cespedes for me while gaining Myers... plus I got a bunch of serviceable bats on the pine I can rotate in. This team wasn't working with much when I took it over last year, I'm trying to compete and improve it's long term outlook at the same time. I'm always looking for a good deal.

My keepers as a core are still young as hell and it's not like Cespedes is a dinosaur. I wish I had not traded Taveras though. I gave in to Jew sending me an offer every day.

And has been hitting lead off recently. Hopefully, that's what Hurdle has him do because runs scored is my weakest category offensively.

Yeah, Harrison has been leading off, so Im sure they will plug Polanco right in his spot. Harrison has been decent, though, but that dude can play like 5 positions.
