You're still letting these dudes push you around. Just because Rondo names the pick doesn't mean you have to do it. It was obvious he was pushing to get rid of Bowtista and CC. Ball was in your court, BRO!

I gave Louie 2 legit keepers for one and I got a pick back from him I sent him in season...I think he made out alright.

It went from a 6th round pick to a 5th round pick. Not like it went from no picks to a 5th rounder

I know. But you dictated them negotiations, blee dat.

When I see you offering the CC/Bow package to a few people, I'm telling myself, "this dude wants to get rid of these boys".

I'm not going to let you come in and own a negotiation for a guy you want in exchange for 2 you're looking to deal. Louie had some bargaining power and he didn't use it, that's all.

I'm probably wrong.

I think Buccholz is poised for a down year, honestly. That's why I liked the deal for him. But he gets Bowtista risk.

Anyways, I will stop butting in negotiations. Sorry Nobes. I just want Louie T to succeed.

I honestly feel Louie is in better shape to succeed now than he was 30 minutes ago.

He should have taken the Holliday package, IMO.

Danks - 3.72 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, 162 K's..and he's 25

eta--adding 30+ HR pop at the cost of losing 70 K's from a SP is a solid deal. and being able to not keep Jeter or Zobrist..priceless

Danks has been in the league three years, you know what you're getting. ERA in the 3s, 150 Ks, modest whip. AKA CJ Wilson clone

Bumgardner > Danks. Did you watch last season and the playoffs? Oh yeah, he's 21.

Oh and Sale was the 1st guy from the 2010 draft to make the majors. An ERA under 2, 32 Ks in 23 innings, a Whip of 1. I'd say that could be a fine keeper for someone. At least he's pitched in the MLB, unlike yo boy Pineda who you are dangling.
