yeah i drafted to be competitive in each category. i don't think there is a weakness on offense, but yeah we can always improve.

Port:
Don't hate this offense, but I'm not totally sold on it either. There are a lot of "depends" factors. Can Tulo replicate last year? Can Bay hit in Citi? Will A-Ram stay healthy this year? Will Russell Martin not suck? I can answer one of those questions. Russell Martin will fail at not sucking.
As for the pitching, it's nice to have Lincecum, but after Danks I'm not really sold. Shields is listed as TB's ace, but he's really not. Dice-K has a lot of question marks, and Carl Pavano is nothing to get excited about. What's worse is that I don't like the possibilities of Meche, Snell, Miller, and Bonderman picking up the slack.
This team needs to be active to stay competitive. The owner isn't afraid to make moves to improve his team, so that is a definite advantage.

I hate Ervin Santana, and I can't figure out why Nobes has such a hard-on for him
Taken in round 18 right after Derek frickfce Lowe.

Drew Stubbs is so overrated it isn't even funny. People have bought into his hype, but when you look at what he is going to max out at in each category, he's nothing more than a 5th OF option
15th rounder....not too reachy IMO

I got really excited when I began to look at this offense. Then I saw the outfield. Ouch. Brett Gardner as a starter? I know he is a steal machine, but frick. I love Kung-Fu Panda, and Cabrera is always nice to have.
No superstuds on the staff, although Cain could become one, and Lester is good, while maybe a bit overrated. Harang is a huge question mark, as is Sanchez. Decent closers.
I get this unfulfilled feeling from this team. It's like a hot chick pulled my pants down but then had her mother walk in and jerk me off. Sure, it got the job done, but it coulda been so much more.
I wasn't there for the draft though, so maybe he capitalized the best he could. That said, it could contend for the playoffs, but I see this owner as the type that won't sell the farm this year in an attempt to win the title.

Any thoughts that rick was having bad luck in TDBL can be thrown right out the fricking window once you check out the team he drafted tonight. Wow, what a pile of frick. It's almost like he fell asleep after the 3rd round and set his auto-pick settings as "bottom feeder."
I do like Jake Peavy on the staff. Sabathia and Vazquez are overrated in this format, but at least he should contend for saves.
Garbage.

Ronnie Mex:
If Adrian Beltre and Vernon Wells can play to their potential, this is going to be a solid lineup. Uggla is underrated, and the outfield of Holliday, Lind, and Granderson is unmatched so far.
The staff isn't quite as solid, but I love Carpenter (although he gives nothing for Ks these days). He may need to pick up a K machine via trade. I'm not sure if this owner is the type that likes to trade though. Guess we will have to wait and see.....
Definite playoff potential if the right moves are made to solidify the pitching.

just gotta do work in pitching. but if i get my saves from my guys if they win their rotation spots, i dont necessarily have to win ks to be successful
but i do know that my kd9 is my low point

Hmm. Hitting not that bad, really. He's got some steals with Ellsbury and Roberts (if healthy), and I really think Ludwick has a great year. Kouzmanoff is better than people think, although I wish he had a better supporting cast. Oh, that Pujols guy is pretty good too. After that, the rest of the offense is old as frick. The good news is that the old fricks have been producing.
Outside of Halladay and Cueto, I'm not thrilled with the pitching. Cueto will be better than most expect, but I have little confidence in Baker, Blanton, or Hudson. That's not to say that those guys will suck. Closers on this team are non existent unless some guys get hit by vehicles.
I don't see this team making the playoffs, but if Slow plays his cards right, he could deal guys like Abreu, Jeter, and Manny for draft picks or injured guys as the deadline nears and build a winner. Not a bad start for someone who hasn't played fantasy baseball before.

Toula:
Well guys, it appears this guy is legit.
Offense is solid, with the only real weakness possibly being in the OF. I do think Rivera is underrated though, while I'm not a huge fan of Soriano. Been fricked too many times in other leagues.
Some question marks in the staff, but I like the core. Webb and Hamels need to bounce back. I LOVE Scherzer. Jiminez is a good arm to have, and Wade Davis is the future. The fact that he has Ricky Romero on the bench is scary. That dude is gonna be a good one. Closers suck cock.
Playoff team unless he gets ravaged by injuries.

You waited until Round 15 to get your third OF?
when you only had Quentin and Adam Jones?
Hurry up, Michael Stanton...

But he's also listed in your starting lineup in the utility position. I just think he's garbage. Reimold or even Polanco are better options.

I'm in an NL-only auction league and I've been thinking about going after Stubbs. Do you think this line appear about right:
0.290,70 runs,15 HR,60 RBI,30 SB
also, what are your thoughts on carlos gonzales? thanks
