Billinglsey is a keeper. I've had Zambrano on some teams before and he made me want to kill myself. Who knows what to expect from Glaus. Neither are keepers.

not when hes publicly stated he will pitch maybe one or two more years tops. and no, hes not a keeper

someone kept him in TBDL.

Glaus has raked this spring. playing 1st base too, should keep him rather injury free.
has 3B eligibility too
and Zambrano is signed through 2012. 3 more years at least, and he is equal to Billingsley

No way. Billingsley will get more Ks. He's young and has plenty of upside (looks good this spring after adjusting him mechanics), so he's more valuable in a keeper. We know what we're getting from Zambrano.
I'm not a fan of two for one trades. I'd rather not trade a good young player for a couple of older guys.

I'd rather keep Figgins.

I need a closer, but before we begin talks I need to know how many leagues you've been in prior to this one.

you want some pop and you have plenty of steals but you dont want to do a beltre for figgins swap?
can i get your reasoning on not doing it?

Who do you have and what do you want in return?

Figgins has roughly the same career OPS as Beltre. He steals better than Beltre provides power. If I wanted Beltre, I would have drafted him where I got Figgins.

this is why its hard to get trades done early on
people always say, well i would have drafted him there if i wanted him, even though after the fact it might be smart to trade for someone they passed on in the draft

thats cool, i was just throwing it out there.
the point of the 2 for 1 was to give a near equal pitcher and then Glaus. but i can see how some will be weary of him.

I have Wagner, Aardsma and Wilson. I'm looking for a SP or a hitter with power.
