I really, really wanted Kipnis but figured your fgt arse would take him.
Did not want to go closer there but Kenley in the 9th is pretty good value.

What y'all think about Conforto? I see him as a 20/80 guy this year. I see him as Alex Gordon with more power. Thoughts?

I needed 2B and it gets a little shallow after Kipnis. MI is shallow as a whole this year.
Kenley would have been my second round pick. I was hoping no one would mess with a closer in the 1st.

Yeah, pretty much. He has the potential to hit 25 HRs. I like him but he was not on my "must have" list for the first.

I traded him for essentially nothing so obviously i'm not huge on him. I like him... don't get me wrong I think he could be really good, I'm just not going crazy over a solid debut in 174 major league at bats and essentially one pretty good season in the minors....
but I get it... he seems to be a good prospect with solid performance so far, I just like to know a little more or be totally blown away by stats in the majors/minors before I jump all in

i hate that park, but he is a good player. I think Alex Gordon is a fair comparison, but what gave Gordon a slight boost most years was his SBs
