PPR League...Draft placement affecting picks

I am in an 8 team league. If I had the 7th or 8th pick, should I shoot for grabbing a WR instead of RB in the first round?

I like the 8 team league. It makes it more competitive. We have had the same league for the last 3 years. I just couldnt figure out if I was 7th or 8th, should i go straight for Andre Johnson or Calvin Johnson? Or stay with the running backs

If it is a PPR, figure Foster, AP, CJ, JC, Rice, and McCoy are taken in the top 6 (if not you are drafting with some idiots). There is no other RB worth a 1st round pick outside of them

Thats good to know. Whats your opinion on Gore? I just can't see him doing THAT well with Alex Smith at QB. He seems like a 2nd rounder to me

Aim for: McCoy, Foster, Peterson, Johnson, Rice, Charles for your RB's. Most likely they won't be there so go get Megatron.

Does it matter if Stafford is playing? No. He only played 3 games last season and Johnson was still top 10 in receiving yards and 2nd in TDs.

exactly my point. Shitty QB play and he still blew up. With Stafford, I think he will have better numbers
