But Morey playing his cards right to acquire draft picks, cap space, etc to make the trade for Harden WAS luck.

How many years in a row did Morey attempt to trade multiple C+ pieces for an A piece until he finally got lucky?

I don't see anything that he's been done to be special.

How many teams would've killed to get a Harden for what Houston gave up for him? What team was in position to do that? C+ pieces for A piece isn't something that happens every day in the NBA. not even once a year. Morey was ready when the opportunity presented itself.

What did Houston give up? Three picks in the teens and Kevin Martin?

Morey just finally found a GM stupid enough to take a mediocre offer.

I reckon it was 2 of the top front offices in the league making a deal that they thought would make each of their teams better.

LINK

There's a reason they're both ranked in the top 5 front office league wide.

Can we just make this a unanimous vote for Thrillho and get the draft order going?

I have to get better than 11th like last year.

And I don't give a frick how great you think your GM is. this thead is about fantasy football, not basketball. So unless you are posting advice on who I should take with the first pick, get the frick out. No one here gives a shite about the fricking Rockets.

Thrillho is one of the best posters on Pels talk. I'm definitely voting for him. Kinda feel bad for ft98 though. He really wants to be in the league

That list doesn't change the fact that Presti panicked once Harden declined the extension.

Credit to Morey for being the right team in the right time. You have to get lucky in this league.
