If we decide on say 2 keepers, you decide who you want on your team next year. Once those 24 players are picked, they're essentially pulled from the draft pool, and a new draft begins.
It has pros and cons, IMO. I like it better in baseball because your rosters are bigger. Plus, it takes away some from the draft aspect.
