One of the most unique fantasy players in the game, Batum was a top-10 fantasy player for much of the season before struggling down the stretch with shoulder and wrist injuries. It was a tale of two seasons for Batum, who posted a brilliant 15.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.3 steals, 1.2 blocks and 2.3 3-pointers before the All-Star break and a solid but unspectacular 12.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.2 steals, 1.1 blocks and 2.1 3-pointers after the break. He can do a lot for fantasy owners, and can provide first-round value in the second round if he can remain healthy this season.

Once upon a time, Mayo was an 18.5-PPG scorer, who averaged 1.8 3s. That was his rookie campaign five seasons ago, and both of those averages remain career highs for the guard. Fast forward to 2013-14, and Mayo finally is in position to match or even exceed that level of production. The Bucks stripped their roster down to bare bones, which likely will put them in the mix for Andrew Wiggins while giving Mayo the chance to lead the team in scoring. He's sported a 40 FG percentage before and that might be the case again this season, but he could well top 20 PPG and 2.0 3-PPG.

Porter's numbers at Georgetown last season hint at a player who should someday become a fantasy darling: 16.2 PPG, 1.4 3-PPG, 7.5 RPG, 2.7 APG, 1.8 SPG, 0.9 BPG, 48.0 FG% and 77.7 FT%. Getting his scoring up into the teens may take some time, in part due to John Wall and Bradley Beal taking a lot of shots, and partly he is a bit too passive. The good news is that even if the scoring doesn't come right away, Porter should chip in plenty of hustle stats and maintain good percentages. If his scoring develops quickly, he could make a run at rookie of the year.

Your team is stacked. Vucevic projected to avg more than Gasol. He was the only reason I stuck around the playoff picture last year.

I really hope Butler (SF) and Kemba (SG) gain dual position eligibility. I would be sitting pretty good. I could potentially look for another 1.

i'm kicking myself for not taking hoford with my 1st pick though. i thought about it for a second but then i wasn't sure if having milsapp was going to take some production from him. then ttt reminded me he had airball smith last year and he still was the top scoring c in our league.

i was going to take kemba before you did but then i saw he didn't have sg eligibility this year like last. only reason i passed on him. if he gains it i will be mad, you will be golden though

Horford/Gasol is a toss up. David Lee actually scored more than Horford last year. Fleurs bigs are scary.

I REALLY love your valancuinas pick. i believe one of the steals of the draft that late. i picked him up in the championship round last year off FA when he started getting heavy minutes. he was emerging as a beast

Just thinking about that, I don't think I've ever seen him play.

Conley/Kemba at 1
Butler/Kemba/DeRozan at 2
LBJ/Butler/AK47 at 3
Dirk/DeMarcus at 4
DeMarcus/Valancuinas/Gotat at 5

Would be sweet

I'm curious to see if Dirk and DMC will beast

if i wasn't already set at bigs i wanted to take him but at that point it would've just been overkill

if they do you are a definite frontrunner. they both have a little risk to them though. if they play their potential though you will be golden

what's your beef with paul pierce? do you think the change of team will lower production? last year he was one of only 7 sf eligible players to average over 19 pts per game in the league. far from a dud. i'm guessing you think he won't be as productive in brooklyn

It's the facial hair, never liked him

No, if he gets minutes he will be good. With his age, the scoring options, & the depth of that roster (AK47 behind him) I think his minutes take a good dip. That team will be intriguing.

if he does take a dip hopefully kobe comes back relatively soon i can plug him at sf. i really believe oj mayo will be a legit sg this year on the bucks. they are tanking and have few options on the team due to attrition.

Yeah, I honestly didn't even know OJ was on the Bucks. He will score 20+ a night easily.

what you think of tots team? i'm always a little hesitant of having both bigs on the same team as your starters but those 2 are good enough to where it might just work. melo is a beast but as you know can go through droughts. iggy is inconsistent as frick but maybe the warriors will be a better fit than the nuggets were for him. i'm not a big fan of brandon jennings

eta: i think he got a steal in the 7th with amir though
