Been in a standard 12 team league for over 20 years. First time doing this survivor thing. 18 teams and I draft 8th.

I’m assuming by survivor, you mean guillotine or chopped league. The only difference in strategy is that you want more consistency in your team. Look for players with high floors instead of high ceilings.
Just remember, you don’t have to be first…just don’t be last.
Another thing that is less common is drafting stacks. You don’t want your QB and one of your top WRs to have a bad day together.
As long as you can survive a few weeks, you’ll be hooked. It is one of the more exciting types of fantasy football.
Even more important than the draft is FAAB and how you spend it. Don’t spend early unless you need to for survival. The team that wins is not the team that builds the best team first, but the team that has money in November & December. You’ll be shocked when the same guy that went for $500 in September goes for $2 in late November.
It’s a blast. Enjoy.

Thanks. I forgot to mention that as teams are knocked out, their entire team goes to the WW
