He's going to be money.....if you make the playoffs.

Browns are going to be playing fr behind a lot so Gordon should get a ton of targets

Not technically official but everything points toward a 10 game suspension being the case, even Josh's response to it.

10 games might be too much for me to justify the bench spot. I'll sleep on it and see what I think in the morning.

I'm keeping him. I think my teams solid enough

I wonder if anything is going to pass? No news from either side.

Is that normal for them to put up point projections that far in advance?

Interesting... I guess we find out if Josh is happy with 10 or if he'll file an injunction. I sort of hope he doesn't... Just keep training, work your way through the dealership for 2 more months, keep his profile low, then boom.

I think he will take 10 as he accrues a year towards FA and a lawsuit against the NFL is a losing proposition which would likely cost more than his missed game checks.

I am hoping he doesn't sue. As it stands, I should make the playoffs (if I can keep him in one of my four bench spots) and would much rather he be around for that end of the season, rather than suing and just postponing the banishment for a few games earlier.

I still have no idea where this mysterious fourth violation is coming from

Plus it seems the NFL just made up a bunch of shite regarding retroactivity

He entered the league in stage 2

Codeine > 3rd violation

Last feb's failure > 4th?

Na codeine was second because the first one is essentially a warning

Second failed NFL tests got 4 games under old policy

This past winter was his third, but he was already in stage 3 because of the negotiated deal to get codeine failure from 4 to 2

So this was only his second failure in the NFL but if you count college it was his third

To me, it seems like they are double counting one of the tests, maybe the codeine. Which is bullshite

People should also understand not all players were in favor of cutting #Browns WR Josh Gordon a break. Many think he deserves what he got.

So for everyone asking about Josh Gordon, it's my understanding his disputed positive still counts. Reduced ban because of extra steps.

So they weren't fighting for Josh? Interesting.

I think some of them wanted Gordon to use this as a growing moment. While it'd be great to have him as a fantasy starter, I'd be happy with the kid learning a great deal from this experience and becoming a better football player for it. Whatever happens, good for the kid. It's been fun

actually thought about that during this whole process. Step aside from the fantasy aspect ( I know) Gordon wouldn't have learned anything if he got off free of charge.

At least there's a better chance he won't frick up in the future since he just got banned 10 games. Maybe it's a wake up call.
