Even if he’s okay to come back in, the Packers are going to be up by too much to even risk putting him back in.

This is in my favor. I hope the guy makes it back next game, just not this game. He has surpassed what I thought he could do last season, and he`s a tough dude. I respect the guy.

Yep. I'm rockin' TyMont and Jordy as my #1 RB and #1 WR. Between Ty's injury and the potential blowout, I may be finished before Sunday. frickin' frick.

"By video, looks to be a left lower rib cartilage injury.
Often more painful than a fracture from direct blow.
Tough to play thru. #

Hate to see that for him and my team. That damn sickle cell

He's done, at least for the night. FYI: I'm not a doctor....

If TY is out for a extended amount of time, Jamaal Williams probably will handle the early downs while Aaron Jones become the third down back.

While this is possible I thought I read on twitter that they do not trust jones much in passing situations.

I think the best we can hope for (barring a miracle return) is a contusion of some kind, with extra rest before their next game. My worry is some kind of broken rib or something. That's the first thing I though about when watching him after the injury. At least it's not a knee or ankle thing...
Either way, it sucks if you went WR heavy and Ty is your number 1 RB.

I picked up Jamaal Williams. Who is this guy?

Jamaal Williams, RB, fourth round (No. 134):If anyone is going to unseat Ty Montgomery as the starting running back, it will be Williams. Of the three drafted running backs, he’s the only one who has taken significant snaps with the No. 1 offense. Williams looks like an every-down back; he has the power needed on first and second down and also can pass protect on third downs. However, he’s not the receiver that Montgomery is coming out of the backfield. He carried four times for 14 yards in the preseason opener.

Scrub. Packers are only going to run it with Ty in there.
