My WRs are Allen Robinson, Marvin Jones, DeVante Parker, and Tyrell Williams. Should I consider dropping him in 12-team PPR? Could really use the depth at RB with all my injuries.

Just a contusion

wide receiver Donte Moncrief will miss 4-6 weeks with a fractured scapula, coach Chuck Pagano said today.

idk, they were playing catchup vs DEN. think that RB spot in IND is capped as far as catching balls

allen sees a nice boost, hilton dorsett and the other guy are tiny. maybe even jak doyle

Doyle had 5 targets last week and 2 TDs in week 1.

Look for an uptick

Like I said I didn't see the MRI and didn't know if there was ligament damage. A contusion takes 1-3 weeks to heal. Broken shoulder blade was worst case scenario and I wasn't off by much.

And I would assume there would be a contusion regardless if there was something broken or not. So I wasnt wrong. His diagnosis came out worse

oh zimme.....never change

the problem is, had you been correct we all know you'd have been here puffing out your chest about your "sources" (aka twitter)...Since you were not, you concoct a whole bunch of bullshite about how you weren't really wrong.

interesting post on reddit....

quote:

Broken scapula...whoa. That is a very rare break. It takes an incredible amount of force to break it as the bone is so thick. I think 4-6 weeks is pretty optimistic and would guess he's not up to 100% until like 8-12 weeks.
I broke my scapula two years ago in a bike wreck. It was a clean break and didn't need surgery as in many cases...I'm assuming Moncrief's break is similar otherwise he'd be out for the season (if surgery was needed). Here was my recovery time-line:
-spent 2 weeks in a sling, on drugs, incredibly painful
-then spent 4 weeks out of a sling, rehabbing daily, very weak, very painful to move arm above head or "push" using arm (things a receiver needs to do).
-then spent 6 weeks of rehab, got back on the bike, but painful if sudden pressure was applied to my shoulder (this would come in the form of me hitting a potholes or bumps in the road on my bike and my arm would essentially give-out).
All up, I wasn't 100% back to normal until 5-6 months out.
I'm definitely not an elite athlete nor a doctor, so I can easily imagine Moncrief healing in less time, but this timeline is pretty absurd based on my experience. I'll armchair diagnose 8 weeks to come back in a limited capacity and 12 weeks before he's operating at 100%.

right so I'd think that 4 week side of the estimate is extremely optimistic

Moncrief droppable at this point?

That post above does not help.

I see Crowder, Cruz, Eunuwa out there for pick up. And obviously Dorsett.

I'm fairly ok at receiver with Nelson, Decker, Mathews and Marvin Jones on the bench, so I probably wouldn't lose much.
