nah, not really, but it's a risk IMO. I think you probably could find a better option in FA

Ryan Mathews (ankle) practiced fully for the second straight day Thursday.
Count on him starting against the Cardinals' 31st ranked run defense, though coach Norv Turner has indicated that Mike Tolbert will remain in the goal-line picture

I'd try to move him if I had him

According to Brian Allee-Walsh of NewOrleans.com, Ladell Betts would handle feature back duties if Pierre Thomas (ankle) is kept out of Sunday's game against the Panthers.
Pass protection remains a major issue for rookie Chris Ivory, so the coaching staff would likely keep him in a niche role as a short-yardage back. Betts is taking the bulk of the first-team snaps this week, though coach Sean Payton is still hopeful that Thomas will return to practice on Friday.

The Dolphins are on pace to surrender 69 receptions for 1,099 yards and 11 touchdowns against opposing tight ends this season.
The Dolphins got shredded by tight ends last year, and they're even worse this year. Patriots rookie Aaron Hernandez, fourth among NFL tight ends in receiving yards, is an elite fantasy option this week.

Can't stand to see your thread on page two, man. You're the only one who posts information instead of asking every visitor to the board to help you manage your team.

Here's a little tidbit I thought you might be interested in:

Detroit Lions RB Kevin Smith will be active for the team's Week 4 game, reports Dave Birkett, of the Detroit Free Press.

I hear that Best is going to play this week, so the Smith activation isn't that big of a deal. But I have to wonder whether Best is pushing himself to come back too early. Happens sometimes with rookies. With so many fantasy teams looking for RBs, every snippet of RB information is good to have.

This was from Thursday.

Detroit Lions RB Maurice Morris is currently in line to start at running back in Week 4 with RB Jahvid Best (toe) injured, according to The Detroit News' Chris McCosky. RB Kevin Smith (knee) is also expected to be active for the first time this year. FB Jerome Felton could also see some work at tailback.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora confirms that Jahvid Best (turf toe) "intends to play on Sunday" after returning to practice Friday.
Best's toe is reportedly "feeling better after resting it a few days." Multiple reports now have Best likely to suit up for Sunday's game at Green Bay. He's risky because of the injury, but Best's talent is difficult to sit.

Updating previous items, Joseph Addai (ankle) was held out of Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Week 4.
Addai was listed on the Week 3 injury report with a "knee," but this is apparently a new injury. Ineffective at less than 100 percent against the Broncos, Addai's status is uncertain for Week 4. Keep in mind that the Colts do often hold players out of Friday practices as precautions. Still, with Donald Brown (hamstring) almost certainly out, Mike Hart appears to have an outside chance to start against the Jaguars. Pick him up.

Browns OC Brian Daboll reiterated coach Eric Mangini's prediction Friday that Peyton Hillis will continue to be the team's feature back.
Daboll is the Browns' playcaller, so his word means even more than Mangini's in a situation like this. "If Peyton is running the ball well, we're going to keep giving it to him," said Daboll

Redskins waived RB Keiland Williams and signed WR/KR Brandon Banks off their practice squad.
Washington needs help on special teams, and Chad Simpson figures to be more versatile as the No. 3 back. Note that Williams was listed on the injury report with an ankle injury. Regardless, Ryan Torain's kung-fu grip on the backup job behind creaky Clinton Portis is as tight as ever. If Torain is unowned in your league, grab him.

Julius Jones is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams.
It looks like Jones is a healthy scratch. He received zero carries in Week 3 as coach Pete Carroll leans toward Justin Forsett as his feature back. Forsett is a solid RB2
