Thanks for the feedback - i think him joking about tanking is what was distorting my view of this trade.

Player A is 2-6, and has "jokingly" stated he is in tank mode. Player B is tied for 4th with 2 other teams:

Player A trades Saquan Barkley and drops 2 bench players
Player B trades Matt Breida, George Kittle, and Mike Williams.

I feel like this is a BS trade but I don't know if it's bad enough to be veto-worthy. I think the major reason I'm tempted to veto is the fact that I think this is just player A screwing around and making bad trades on purpose.

This is an auction league and does not have keepers so there's no long-term strategy in play.

Hes getting Kittle, along with the other pieces. How is this veto worthy?

At 2-6 you're only chance is to take your best player and flip that into multiple assets.

based on what?
Which package from your own team would have been better than what's being offered here?

Definitely not an even trade but also definitely not veto worthy.

I think I would classify your situation as trade envy.

based on what? How do you know the struggling 2-6 team isn't much better with Breida, Kittle and Mike Williams on his lineup?

Are Breida and Williams upgrades? Are they going to see his lineup this week with 6 teams on bye?

May have been the best offer he could get. 3 players for 1 isn't something that is easy to pull off.

Common sense and also from a pure value perspective.

Upgrading your TE for a hit or miss RB/WR combo? Pass. Plus two of those guys are on the same team.

I'm taking Barkley all day every day in this spot.

A more even trade, value-wise, would be to make it a solid 2 for 1 deal. Kittle and another player that is clearly better than a Brieda/Mike Williams type.

A 2-6 team will typically not get any better when they trade away their best player.

The guy trading Barkley should definitely be asking for more but i am not sure I would say this is veto worthy. Breida/Williams are like flex/bye plays at best. I am sure for the 2-6 guy they are probably upgrades but all things equal he should be getting a for sure starter + Kittle at a minimum.
