They both get benefit out of it because they need to fill in for byes but the player they are giving up would have probably been on the bench this week. However, they both want their players back the following week.

I'd flip out if this were allowed and neither one of the players would be in our league ever again.

Yeah i would never play in a league that allowed this.

If it were a money league i would just be red faced mad and simply finish the season and start looking for another league.

If it were a free league i would do my best to let someone borrow my bench player and let them lend me a quality player in return. After that week when prompted for the trade back i would decline and laugh and laugh and laugh.

One guy wanted to do it with me, and I'm the commish, I said...the trading back part of it was sketchy. I was fine with trading straight up, and keeping the respective players. It was only IDP players, however.

I actually made two IDP for IDP trades. But no trading back...that's the thing.

Yeah that's fricked up. Especially around playoff time when buddies start helping each other out.

absouletely,
say your qb brady is on a bye

you borrow a backup qb from a guy who has vick and newton.

instead of having a backup like sanchez, cassel etc. you have a top 10 fantasy qb and beat your opponent by 6 when newton scores 23 and your original back u only scores 12. how the hell is it fair for your opponent?

You never know someone until you play Fantasy Football with them only to than realize the bastards they truly are.

I'd thought I'd chime this in. Felt appropriate.

No you stupid shite.

You draft players and form your own team. That's the point of fantasy football. You don't borrow players. Pay attention to your bye weeks and manage ahead.

This is the only answer

if it's mutually beneficial, i don't see the problem, even if it's only beneficial for a week
