It's a legit question imo. I asked the same thing yesterday except with Winston not Hoyer. I was told with a legit #2 QB it's doable but Winston didn't qualify as A legit #2. I'll have to defer to someone else if Hoyer is.

Since the start of 2015,

Brees is averaging just 276 yards on the road with a total of 12 TDs and eight interceptions in nine games

compared to 374 yards per game, 34 TDs and seven interceptions in 11 games at home.

You're overthinking it. You start your studs. If the Saints wouldn't have had a bye Brees would be number 1 in almost all the major stats.

Brees on road in toughest outdoor stadium in the league.

GBs entire secondary is out, no running backs to speak of in the game. Has to be a shootout right??

Right???

Hoyer

Brees has (1) 20+ scoring game on the road since start of 2015. Meanwhile, he's averaging 33 points at home.

EXTREME SPLITS - KC will get after him, the Saints are just what that pass rush needs

The saints oline has done a very good job of protecting drew but granted this is probably the best pass rush hes faced yet.

Still wouldn't sit him

Thanks for the info everyone. I chickened out and stuck with Brees.

This is the thought process that ultimately kept me from doing it:
