It’s a PPR, non keeper standard scoring league with a snake draft. Will be QB, 2 RB, 2WR, TE and Def/Kicker this due to expansion. Not sure why we are getting rid of the flex. Our league got bumped to 14 teams. 12 was hard enough to get good top end talent.
Do you guys do best player? Stack up on RBs in the first few rounds? Short of getting the first or last pick your kind of screwed due to the amount of picks in b/w your next one.

I like to build out RB and WR early. At minimum id lock up 2 of each as your starters

Worry about your QB and TE later in the draft, there is so much value to be had there. K/DEF last two rounds

First of all, I would push hard to get the Flex spot back. I'm in a 14-team league and we switched from 2 RB/2 WR/1 TE/1 Flex to 1 RB/2 WR/1 TE/ 2 Flex because it gets very difficult for 14 teams to find 2 RBs each week, especially during bye weeks.

I would echo what Gyno said - stock up on RB and WR and get at least 2 of each in the first 5 rounds, unless there is an absolute steal at TE or QB (i.e. Kelce/Ertz in rounds 4/5 or Mahomes/Watson in round 5). You're going to want to build depth in the draft because the WW is going to be slim pickins.

Yeh... I don’t like getting rid of the flex.

I plan on taking the highest ranked RB unless I’m on the bottom end of the draft order and one of the top couple of receivers are there.
The more I think about it, the more concerned I get about my 2nd pick. B/c a solid RB is going to be hard to get off the wire or mid to late in the draft. Do you take a RB with the first 2 pics and wing it with WR?

Best case is if your #1 or #14 cause you can take your best 2 at the time.
