I’m in need of a WR2 in a half point ppr league. I traded Gillislee for Baldwin. I have no trust in Patriots RBs and he was on my bench. Hopefully Seattle’s Offense can get going.

Could I have gotten more for Gillislee?

It is a really good trade.

For the other guy. Gillislee has been pretty solid so far this year and is arguably their best RZ RB. Blount last year had more TDs than some QBs and the offense is consistently elite.

Seattle is in a rough way and needs to find their way out of it.

I like proven commodities and all but sometimes you have to ride the hot hand. Gillislee is a hot hand you should have kept riding at this point IMO.

Well I have Hyde and Freeman also and can only start two. It is a super flex league but I’m starting a qb in that spot.

If you weren't using Gillislee and needed help at WR then it works for you.

Why would you start a QB in the flex spot, if you had Gill though?

I’m starting Rivers and Big Ben in my qb/super flex spot. Higher floor and higher ceiling starting a qb there.

Um, because QBs consistently outscore other positions. Last year, 21 of the top 25 scorers were QBs. If you have a super flex you should definitely be starting a QB

I don't play in any leagues with a flex as an option at QB.

Hasn't Gillislee outscored Rivers up to this point this year though?

I don't even like 2 QB leagues however leagues that allow QBs to flex isn't strategy it is just stupid to allow it in the first place.

GM setting up league fail.

irrelevant. If you have a flex spot that allows QBs, that spot ALWAYS has to be a QB.

Ok dude...relax a little.

I've never played in any league that had more than 1 QB.

It's also not really irrelevant if another position is outscoring the QB that he's been using in it.

Super flex isn't that uncommon. It's essentially the same as a 2QB league because everyone mostly just starts 2 QBs. I don't like them either, but if you're in one, you should be starting 2QBs in 95% of cases.

That's a fair point. But Rivers will still outscore Gillislee this year. Most weeks he's a better start. And yea lol things are heating up here quick!

No, Rivers has outscored him both weeks.

Week 1 Rivers - 17.7
Week 1 Gill - 22.5

Week 2 Rivers - 17.2
Week 2 Gill - 12.9

That's the scoring in my league. Not sure how much differently your scoring is set up. It's a wash so far though.

It won't be a wash though.
