I get this is a dynasty and Espinosa's last month hasn't been much, but I couldn't understand the level of interest for a MI with 18 HR and 50 RBI for contenders. Figured he had to be worth more than what some of these people have been plucking off of waivers.
I think they liked the cheap steals upside of Jankowski too though. Just good timing as he was coming off of a 3 steal night.

Had the 21/9/21 hot streak in June
Guy is 29, and Id say we are familiar with who is is. Nice hot streak but he shouldn't even be playing everyday and his future beyond this year is ????
Id say that was poor move by T&P but we all make mistakes

As much time as I spent on the site the last two days, I'm pretty happy with how I finished up the trade deadline.
Still have Reyes, added another young SP stud, have a top 5-6 pick in the draft, and added Buster Posey.

My thing with Bour is, he's a platoon fantasy player. You can only play him vs RHP. Which makes me wonder what his long term prognosis is in the MLB? He won't continue to play everyday down the line if he keeps his pace... traded or platooned. He's 28
So ya give up assets when you could've had a guy to stream vs RHP like Lind, and ya give up nothing, really
All and all, I think the SELLERS made out better than they buyers.

It was a 1st for Espinosa. Yea, he sucks, but we were hit with Story news hours before the deadline and had to do something. He's locked into ABs the the rest of the year and better than anyone we could get on the wire. There's also the chance he can run into one of his hot streaks during the playoffs.
Weaver for Jankowski. Weaver was a FA pickup for us midseason, we'll find more of him. Boo and MWG are only playoff teams better than us in NSB. He's also locked into ABs and is a good plug and play for the playoffs.
Story injury is a big blow (especially after moving Baez/Rendon), we probably won't recover from that. But made some moves to improve our chances.
