I can only imagine how terrible that offer was.

I used it for coyotes. The deer thing is to frick with friends. I sometimes play a doe tending bleat into my buddies voicemail. Although I do have one of those electronic deer calls. Could be illegal in Mississippi.

It sounds creepy as frick. Just another way to annoy people.

There is significant momentum toward a deal that would send Robinson Cano and Edwin Díaz from the Seattle Mariners to the New York Mets, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. While they characterize a deal as not done yet, there is an increasing expectation a trade will get finished.

Was considered basically untouchable...you have to figure the Yankees will be sending something significant (relative to an RP) back if it happens.

Just saw that. So a dumped contract will cost Edwin for two high risk prospects.

Sometimes I'm glad we don't play in a salary dynasty.

But at least it keeps the door open on the Brewer-Thor rumors

Don't think the Brewers have the juice to pull it off though and it would certainly have to include Keston.

If the Mets doing this, dont see any reason to move Thor.

I agree. They have the talent there to compete... at least for next season.

Ya this is a move that tells me they’re trying to compete, which they can at full health I think

good point. It really doesn't seem like a team that can't compete when healthy.

1. Nimmo CF
2. Cano 2B
3. Conforto LF
4. Bruce RF
5. Frazier 3B
6. Dom/Bruce/Alonso 1B
7. Healthy Catcher
8. Rosario SS

McNeil, Lagares, and Flores off the bench. Cespedes?

SP deGrom
SP Thor
SP Wheeler
SP Matz
SP Vargas

RP Diaz

Looking at it now, they're betting a lot against Father Time and crossing their fingers they stay healthy.
