re: FSBDL 2019 - OMT is your Champion

There was some discussion around this topic before, having a bottom feeder penalty is one deterrent of tanking . My opinion on how also police it

1) Lottery system like the NBA
2) Can't benefit from missing IP limits after you've been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

Things to consider for vote this offseason.

Set the record straight that he wasn't tanking for draft position....also said Boo doesn't get the 1st pick because he didn't feel like doing something he's going to have to do eventually because FA SP is trash.

I started off in dead last with an old competing team. I had to make a move while my guys had some value left. Yea it sucks not being able to have a high draft pick, but I think I did well restocking the farm.

i think we are at a point that every non playoff team should pay a bottom feeder.

different increments based on where you finish. Can add the money to the pool

I like the idea but maybe not as extreme. Maybe something along the lines of last two pay $75 and 3rd-4th to last pay $50. That would cover the crowd in the bottom 20%.

I'm just talking out loud here for ideas to be voted on in the off-season.

seems punitive.

You cannot say that every team didn't try their hardest. Why charge them a penalty?

I think finishing bottom 2 warrants a bottom feeder....does finishing 10th out of 20 team super competitive league warrant a penalty though???? frick no.
