I been sitting on Eloy for EVER

I definitely made an offer for him. Probably would make another, but I’m gonna see how this draft shakes out. Also, I’m not sure Peter Alonso isn’t as good as McMahon.

You've been openly gay for Alonso lately. Kinda wondering if it's the ole pump and dump.

Whoa
I’ll still take the under tho.

His numbers speak for themselves. He hasn’t suffered a down season like McMahon has, and he also hasn’t had the benefit of the PCL.

He certainly turned it on post injury. I just don’t think he’s anymore than a platoon guy ... maybe that.

His glove is what turns scouts off more than anything. The dude can hit and with thump. There’s value in that, especially if he gets moved to the AL.

Meadows is a hit tool guy developing power
i mean, he's a .263 hitter w/ a .788 OPS (.328 OBP) if you combine his last two seasons. If you look at just his AAA numbers he's at .232 w/ a .713 OPS (.304 OBP) in 109 games
dont you want more?

I think Meadows deserves to be at the bottom of the top 100 until he shows otherwise. His hit tool is suppose to be his calling card. He and Verdugo are similar except one is actually productive.

He was pretty disappointing against RHP in High-A. Ultimately why I dropped him a few months ago when I dug deeper.
He was a lot better in AA vs RHP, but played primarily DH.

Alonso is older than McMahon & has played 11 games above A ball

that's what i was thinking papzy
id take it a step further, if he was a RH hitter he wouldnt be in the top 100

Lol. They are seven DAYS apart.
Alonso went to college, LE. He had to get acclimated to minor league ball.

Alonso isn’t on hardly any top 100 lists.
Eta: just saw you were talking about meadows. I agree though. Scouts love meadows but he hasn’t shown that he can produce what his talent says he should.
