Im assuming he thinks he can get the stud with FT2 + others and not have to include Carrasco.

Yeah, clarified.

At first I thought the top name in the trade was the offerer, but it's just alphabetical.

I can see all the non-executed trades, but no what to tell who was the initiator.

Where it says “from” and “to”

The “from” part is the owner that proposed the trade.

The “to” part is the owner the proposal was offered to.

Dont think Ive ever seen you do a deal where the other person wasnt overpaying.

lol thats a joke darryl. You are always so far off on value it makes it hard to deal with you.

That being said, trade values will vary in this league depending on where you sit.

If you're a contender, expect to over pay a little for a commodity especially if you are giving a prospect or an injured player. What is the incentive for a team out of the playoffs to just make a fair swap?

If im playing for next year, I have to have incentive to deal my pieces, otherwise you are just moving laterally.

Ive heard Sam Hinke explain it best. Something like if you have a winning lottery ticket(ie a known commodity), how much sense does it make to trade for a potential lottery ticket, or several? the whole point of wining the lottery is to win. Once you've won you've met you goal.

that being said, if Im trading a winning ticket, I'm going to be looking for several tickets that give me the best chance of hitting again.

That doesn't make any sense... both teams are listed under both columns. That just shows which players are going which way.

Bruh, I’m getting yongervis Solarte offers for FT2. The whole subtle MiLB name drop is played out and don’t work no more, especially for a 17 year old

Padres shortstop prospect Fernando Tatis Jr. is expected to be done for the season after X-rays revealed a fractured left thumb.

Tatis suffered the injury on a stolen base attempt Thursday at Double-A San Antonio. He is likely to need surgery, although there is still hope after the swelling goes down that an MRI shows he can avoid an operation. Either way, his season is over.

The way I saw your initial "premium" offer was:

swamie piece 1: 9.00
swamie piece 2 & 3: 6.5
LE piece 1: 8.75

LE +6.75

The counter:

swamie piece 1: 9.00
LE piece 1: 8.75

swamie pieces 3 & 4: 6.5
LE piece 2: 7.5

swamie +.75

If you want to work on getting back to the plus side on the counter we can, but that contender tax is a little too rich, Bernie Sanders.

That was actually a compliment I was giving you. But if you feel the need to try to explain how a Bregman for Fulmer swap is even, then go right ahead. Almost every trade Ive offered you has been pretty close or fair value, you just dont see it at the time. There have been a few that I offered where I knew I didnt have the pieces for but just threw something out there to see(Bryce offers). Just look at you holding up our deal before the season because you didnt want to give Marte+Moran away. If you actually look back at offers Ive given you in the past, you would have won a majority of them that you declined.
