I'm not sure who to comp him to, I think reasonable expectations is 20 HR, .370 OBP, .425 SLG, with some power upside if the can tap into it. Not much SB upside. Hopefully with is ability to get on base he makes his way to the top of the order and can get 80 runs on this mediocre TBR team.

Yeah, but Joey Wendle is Joey Wendle. He shouldn't be blocking Adames. Regardless, I'm not calling him up until he is up to stay. I don't want my top prospect going back and forth.

It's entirely possible they had this conversation with Adames and said look, we need someone for a few days and we like to give you a taste of the bigs a treat with the full understanding its only a few days.

Adames has a much better hit tool and feel for the strike zone.

I know he's on my roster but Asdrubal with better hit tool is probably a pretty decent comp for him
