Looks like Blair will be the next up but I would be surprised if Sims or Fried is up not long after.

I'm interested to see what Jordan Luplow can do with this opportunity...he's been crushing the ball all year through AA and AAA.

You think it will be Sims? Jaime was a lefty and so is Fried.

Are the Astro really moving peacock back to the pen

I imagine so, at least as long as Keuchel, McCullers, Fiers, Morton, and McHugh are healthy.

Little late on this but I cant tell you how much this pisses me off. As an astros fan and as the owner of Peacock in this league. Stros have won 8 of Peacocks last 10 starts. And dont give me bullshite about him not pitching deep in games. Morton & Fiers both have pitched over 120 IP in a season like three times each in their careers. Its not like all of a sudden they are back of the rotation inning eaters. Astros BP has been struggling lately, but there has to be better ways to strengthen it other than moving Peacock back. Considering the injuries to SP all season, go to a 6-man rotation to preserve health & IP and add to the BP via trade if anything. Obviously do not agree with this move.

End rant

Peacock has been the best pitcher in baseball over the last two months or so. We're talking about McHugh, Fiers, Morton pushing him back to the pen

If youre lining up Kuechs, Peacock (assuming he kept pitching well, a Lance Lynn or Gray type, McCullers in a playoff series I would go head and crown the Stros

You guys wont go far with Keuchel, McCullers, Fiers, Morton, and McHugh in the playoffs. It's just a different animal

If any Astros pitcher has been hot over the last few months it's been Fiers actually.

I still want to see the Astros get into a Verlander/Wilson package. I don't see the current rotation staying healthy for long.

I would love that playoff experience in the rotation.

I'm not writing the checks though.

Exactly. Ain't my money. Allows the Stros to not give up one of their highly coveted guys (maybe a yordan Alvarez is the headliner) while getting JV and Wilson.

Unless Keuchel is healthy... he didn't look too good today though.
