I'm more interested in who the Phillies are going to use in Eickhoff's spot in the rotation?

I'm hoping they give Eshelman a chance. Could be Appel as well.

still just 27. We've seen guys turn corners at later ages — Chase Anderson is 29

He's lost some of his luster yes but is still younger then say Danny Duffy who put it together last year. Dude should be on a roster

Moore is the NL version of Trevor Bauer. They actually hurt you more on your roster than if you let em go

They will lull you into a false sense of startability then proceed to wreck your pitching stats for a week every other start

I still can't believe they are running Bauer out there every fifth day. He needs to be in the pen.

Scherzer didn't put it together until he was 28 too

Gyne I'm just saying bad teams devoid of talent that is a must add and none of them bit

Yap a la Archie Bradley

Moore would be a decent pen guy too as a lefty specialist. Really just a two pitch guy, he could dial up that FB like he used to which would maybe render that change more effective

Jake Arrieta's another guy that put it together at age 28.

Listen Earl I don't disagree he needs to be rosterered but you know how to read pitcher peripherals better than anyone and you know just as well as I do Matt Moore doesn't have stuff like a scherzer Arrieta or even a Duffy

these little subtle jabs at Duffy are starting to wear on me.

I'm curious to see how many LHP starters have a higher average fastball than he does. Ray, Duffy, maybe 1-2 more? Go find that

He has a wipe out curve too just control problems
