Scott Kingery has 17 HR at reading

His splits are actually better on the road as Swam just said. He just came off 5-6 straight multi-hit games that were all on the road. And I think he hit a few out during Spring too. But I am not buying into the power either. I said last year when Swam ranked everyone's farm that I saw Kingery as a pre-power hitting Altuve - solid avg, 7-10 HRs, 30 SB kinda guy with a decent OBP that ties directly into his high average because he wasn't walking enough. I dropped him over the offseason but picked him up again earlier this season because his walk rate has spiked up to almost 10% so far this year (it was closer to 3% before this season). If that is sustainable, then his OBP will be pretty damn good. And he'll be batting top of a lineup with Rhys and a few other solid hitters behind him. So he may be an above average 3 category contributor at R, OBP, nSB and anything over 10 HRs is lagniappe. That plays in this league.

Maybe in the draft bc he was a small school guy

He displayed power and discipline all throughout the minors. Pretty protectable bat

Kingery is blowing away every career avg at 5'10" 180

He wasn't on KL's top 100 list the year he was called up...don't remember on BA list either, but I could be wrong.

Adam Wainwright is good again

A 27 year old pitcher is sent back to the minors after allowing just eight runs in his past 34 innings.

Gyne, we would like to propose going in on this deal with you. We propose adding one of our OTBs in exchange for a stake in the return.

We think pairing a 1B elig Duda, with a 2B/3B Schimpf or a C Sal Perez will give the receiving team a lot of the offensive market share.

Thoughts?

Ron, just went through the chat history. Nothing on a Schimpf. We talked Rodon for a bit.

Would you like to re-engage?
