How does it work for a guy still MiLB eligible
Say he got sent down and never played another game this year in majors. Would he be an OF next year?

I'm not sure how fantrax decides it, but I believe they would just assign the position that he played the most, so OF.

Once a player is called up, it's only where he qualifies based on MLB appearances.
Our first year, Javy Baez didn't get SS elig the following year even tho he played 70 games at SS in the minors.

Yes he will lose it.
That was my Javy example. Was elig at SS when called up, didn't qualify and lost it the next year.

Yeah hes got 4 games at 2B already. He should maintain elig unless he gets sent back down and doesnt get back up for awhile.
