Putting at 5 per team is GUARANTEEING that 40 more players are taken out of the pool, because people will just stash injured free agents up to their capacity.
Allowing unlimited moves under the requirement that the player is on your team at the time of injury may actually remove less players from the pool than increasing it to five slots with no restrictions.

exactly AND fangraphs can monitor it for us by not allowing DL guys to be added.

Or you put 5 per team under the same guidelines that they have to be homegrown. That's how it should be anyway

Lower the IP limit to 25, increase MLB roster by 1 or 2. Still not sure why everyone shot that down but wanted to increase MiLB spot
