Friday Practice Reports from Around the League

Quarterback
Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (back-questionable) is practicing in full but QB Dak Prescott will start in Pittsburgh.
Kansas City Chiefs QB Alex Smith (head/ear) went full again and will start in Carolina. QB Nick Foles (elbow) was upgraded to full and will back him up.
New York Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick (knee-questionable) remained limited but is set to start vs. Los Angeles.
Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee) is practicing in full and is in great shape for a good matchup vs. Dallas.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston (knee) is practicing in full and will play vs. Chicago.
Running Back
Atlanta Falcons RB Tevin Coleman (hamstring-out) didn’t practice for a third day and won’t play in Philadelphia. RB Devonta Freeman carries another near full load.
Chicago Bears RB Ka’Deem Carey (illness) went full again and will be in there as a backup in Tampa Bay.
Green Bay Packers RB James Starks (ankle-questionable) remained limited and may see a limited active role in Tennessee.
Houston Texans RB Lamar Miller (shoulder) was upgraded to full and is good to go for Jacksonville. RB Alfred Blue (ribs) went full again and will back him up.
Kansas City Chiefs RB Spencer Ware (concussion) went full again and will return to start in Carolina.
Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley (thigh-questionable) was upgraded to full and should play in the tough matchup at the Jets.
Minnesota Vikings RBs Jerick McKinnon (ankle) and Ronnie Hillman (heel) are practicing in full and will be part of their RBBC in Washington.
New York Jets RB Matt Forte (knee) got in another full practice and is totally fine for Los Angeles.
San Francisco 49ers RB Carlos Hyde (shoulder-questionable) remained limited. Although he is more optimistic about playing, he remains iffy for Arizona as a Saturday decision, with DuJuan Harris in line to start in his place again.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Doug Martin (hamstring-questionable) was upgraded to full and has a good chance to return vs. Chicago and see touches with RB Peyton Barber. RB Jacquizz Rodgers (foot-out) isn’t practicing and is set to miss another game.
Tennessee Titans RB DeMarco Murray (foot/toe) got in full practice and is good for Green Bay. RB Derrick Henry (calf) was upgraded to full and is OK to play and back him up.
Wide Receiver
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (ankle) remained limited. WR John Brown (hamstring) was upgraded to full. Both will play and start vs. San Francisco.
Chicago Bears WR Eddie Royal (toe-questionable) remained limited. He should be available in Tampa Bay.
Dallas Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (knee-questionable) is practicing in full and will go in Pittsburgh.
Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb (hamstring) was limited for a third day but is OK for Tennessee.
Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (knee-questionable) remained limited. They’re not totally sure he can go in Jacksonville. He’s a game-time decision. WR Jaelen Strong (ankle-out) didn’t practice again and is set to miss the game.
Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns (concussion-questionable) got in a second limited practice. He is very iffy to play as he’s yet to clear concussion protocol. WR Marqise Lee may see a bigger role.
Kansas City Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin (groin-out) isn’t practicing and won’t play in Carolina. WR Chris Conley (quad) was upgraded to full and is fine. WR Tyreek Hill will see a bigger role.
Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (shoulder-questionable) got in limited practice and should play. WR Kenny Stills (calf-questionable) was also upgraded to limited and also should go in San Diego.
Minnesota Vikings WR Laquon Treadwell (hamstring-questionable) was downgraded to no practice ahead of Washington and likely will be inactive.
New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (foot-questionable) remained limited but is fine for Seattle.
New York Giants WR Victor Cruz (ankle) isn’t practicing and is set to miss Cincinnati. TE Will Tye will see a bigger role as a result.
New York Jets WR Brandon Marshall (foot) got in full practice and is fine for Los Angeles.
Pittsburgh Steelers WR Sammie Coates (finger) went full again and is good for a nice matchup vs. Dallas. WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (foot-out) isn’t practicing and won’t play. WR Markus Wheaton (shoulder-out) was downgraded to no practice and also won’t play. WR Eli Rogers should be busy again.
San Diego Chargers WR Travis Benjamin (knee-doubtful) didn’t practice for a third day and is unlikely to play vs. Miami. WR Tyrell Williams (knee-questionable) was limited again and should play.
San Francisco 49ers WR Torrey Smith (back-questionable) was limited again. He should be OK for Arizona in a tough matchup.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (concussion) went full again and will play vs. Chicago. WR Russell Shepard (hip-out) didn’t practice again and will miss the game.
Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson (shoulder-doubtful) didn’t practice again in advance of Minnesota and now won’t play. Their other wideouts and tight ends will pick up more targets.
Tight end
Arizona Cardinals TE Darren Fells (ankle) was upgraded to full and will play vs. San Francisco.
Atlanta Falcons TE Jacob Tamme (shoulder-out) isn’t practicing and is set to miss Philadelphia with TE Austin Hooper seeing another big role.
Green Bay Packers TE Jared Cook (ankle-doubtful) was limited again and won’t play in Tennessee.
New England Patriots TE Martellus Bennett (ankle-questionable) remained limited but is fine for Seattle.
Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek (ribs-questionable) remained limited in advance of Atlanta and remains iffy to play. TE Trey Burton (hamstring-questionable) went full and should be in there behind TE Zach Ertz.
San Diego Chargers TE Antonio Gates (knee) went full again and is fine for Miami. TE Hunter Henry (knee-questionable) was upgraded to full and has a good chance to return to action.
Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (groin) is practicing in full and is fine for Green Bay.
