I'm the same way. Everyone was bitching at me for not wanting to pick so I obliged.

I do agree that there shouldn't be a time limit due to the draft starting a week a head of schedule

Cool...just wanted to make sure we're all on the same page (or at least in the same book).

Just got done having lunch with the wife. Pick coming.

Bham, were you really going to take a QB or someone else or are you fricking with me?

With my schedule this week, those breaks will be long enough for a bathroom break. Lunch will be brought in and eaten during meetings. I'll get on when I can, but may sit around for two hours waiting for my pick and just before my turn, go into a 6 hour meeting. Not everyone works the same kind of job.

I'm not sure if I want to answer this question. I like the fact that it's bugging you.

Hint...I was the last guy to take a qb last year and won the league. Not saying I'll take that strategy this year, but taking a qb in the first round would be a hell of a change of philosophy.

I wasn't implying you weren't busy or anything. I'm the same way, I go pretty nonstop at times and will do the majority of the drafting from my phone. One tab will have the original post in this thread w who has been picked, one tab will have the active thread, and one tab will have a sheet with a list of players. If its my turn, I look at who's been picked vs who's available. I have a general idea of who or what I want and go from there.

I was the first to take one and finished 2nd. To each his own.

I understand. It's just that my company is involved with 3 different m&a transactions right now, and I will either have the heads of other companies or the heads of my company in my presence almost all the time for the next 3 days. It may not be as bad as I'm expecting, but just giving y'all a heads up in case you wanted to find a different owner.

Like has been mentioned, it will be cool as long as folks let the draft play out as a true slow draft. We have plenty of time.

Wasn't saying one way was better, just that it would be a big change for me after success the other way.

ETA: Going into my 25th year of fantasy football and I don't recall ever taking a qb in the first round.
