Yahoo will not be hosting fantasy NASCAR anymore. Will need to be moved, and my vote is to NASCAR.com - salary cap system, pick 5 drivers and a winner.

It's that of FOXSports right? Just thought I would get the ball rolling on who's playing this year.

NASCAR® Fantasy Live 2018 Game

B. Joining a League:
Once an entry has been created, you may choose to join or create a League. Leagues can be established by anyone at any time throughout the Season. There is no minimum number of teams that may participate in a given League, and the League maximum is one-hundred (100) teams, except that a limited number of sponsored leagues are open to more than 100 teams. Leagues can be Public or Private. Public Leagues can be joined by anyone, provided the League has not reached its maximum number of teams. Private Leagues require the password of the League commissioner. In order for participants to be eligible for prizes, they must compete in a League of at least 6 teams, either Public or Private. Participants in Leagues with fewer than 6 teams will still earn points, but the winners of such Leagues will not be eligible for Weekly prizes or the Overall Prizes. League eligibility for prizes will be determined at the time winners are determined. For example, participants in a League with only 4 teams will not be eligible for Weekly prizes, but if that League gains two teams and reaches 6 teams during Week 15, then the winners of that League for weeks 15 through 26 will be eligible for the Weekly prizes, so long as the League remains at six teams or more. However, if a League with six (6) teams is reduced to four (4) teams during Week 12, the teams in that League will no longer be eligible for Weekly and Overall prizes until they gain two (2) more teams. Only participants in Leagues with at least 6 teams at the end of the Game Period will be eligible for the Overall Prizes. Any registered participant can have up to five (5) active teams in up to five (5) different Leagues (maximum one team per League). A participant can move a team from one League to another League at any time. A participant may also remove a team from any League and continue playing, but any teams that are not in a prize-eligible League with at least six teams in it at the time prizes are being determined will not be eligible to receive any Weekly or Overall Prizes.

C. Game Play:
For 2018, Fantasy Live has changed from a salary cap game to a model that allows a limited use of each Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series™ driver over the course of a season. Each participant may only use a particular driver a maximum of ten (10) times per Team over the course of the entire Game Period.

Manage one or more teams of five (5) Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series™ drivers, picking drivers with the best chance at scoring the most points each week. One (1) additional driver may be added to a Garage roster slot before the beginning of a Race, and substituted for one of the starting drivers while the Race is in progress up until the end of Stage 2.

Drivers do not automatically carry over from Race to Race, so participants must return to the Website each week to place drivers on their Team Roster(s).Participants may place the same driver on one or more of his or her five teams[/quote], however, each participant may only use a single driver a maximum of ten times per Team over the course of the entire Game Period. A full Team Roster of five drivers is not required to be scored. A participant will earn points each week as described below based on the performance of the drivers on the participant’s team(s) for that week. Participants can also earn bonus points each week by successfully predicting the pole winner, the winning driver(s) for Stage 1, Stage 2, and overall, and/or the winning car manufacturer for a particular Race.

D. Setting your Team:
Participants will select five (5) drivers to make up a team of their predicted top-scoring drivers in that week’s Race. Participants do not need to have a full roster of five drivers to receive points. Participants will have until five (5) minutes before each Race’s official start time to select their Team. Official start time will be posted on the Game Website. In the event of any delay to the start of a Race, the roster lock time may be extended. ROSTER PICKS DO NOT CARRY OVER WEEK TO WEEK. The participant must return before each Race to set his/her Team Roster. Drivers must actively start and finish a Race in order to receive points.

E. Garage Driver
P
articipants may select one (1) Garage driver for each Team for each Race. The Garage driver must be selected at least five (5) minutes before each Race’s official start time. The points of the driver in the Garage spot at the end of the Race will not count toward the final score of the Team. However, participant may substitute the Garage driver for a driver in the starting roster an unlimited number of times, if desired, until the end of Stage 2 while a Race is in progress. The combined race points of the drivers that finish the Race in the Team’s five active starting roster slots will count toward the Team’s final score. Only driver picks that finish a Race in one of the five starting roster slots will count against the maximum limit of ten (10) uses of the driver on the Team for the Season.

F. Bonus Points:
For bonus points, participants will need to select their Pole Winner, Stage 1 Winner, Stage 2 Winner, Winning Driver and Car Manufacturer predictions each week. Failure to do so will not result in a penalty, but no additional bonus points will be earned. Drivers used as bonus picks are not required to be on the active five person Team roster. The Pole Winner bonus pick locks before the start of pole qualifying at the time listed within the Game, which will generally take place on the Friday before each Race. BONUS PICKS DO NOT CARRY OVER WEEK TO WEEK. Participants must select these before each Race in order to earn bonus points for that Race. Driver bonus picks do not count towards the limit of ten uses of a driver on a Team Roster for the Season.

G. Scoring Format:
The drivers participating in each of the 26 Regular Season Races of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series™ schedule will be scored each week according to the categories below. Participants earn points each week for each of their teams based on the performance of the drivers on their team for that week. The total race points accumulated by each driver on a participant’s team, plus any Bonus Points earned, represent the participant’s Weekly Race Points for each team/entry. Weekly Race Points are used to rank participants within Leagues and Overall each week. Weekly Race Points are totaled for each team Race by Race to determine the Overall League and Game (All Participants) Rankings. Weekly Race Points and respective Rankings will be considered Final and will be posted to the site within 24 hours of the time when Race Results from NASCAR® become official. Any penalties or adjustments to NASCAR official scoring after Game scoring has been finalized will not be reflected in the Weekly Race Points.

H. Scoring Categories:
Drivers are scored across two (2) statistical categories, originating from NASCAR’s official Race scoring. If a Driver on a participant’s Team Roster does not compete in a Race or is replaced by a substitute driver, that Driver will be awarded zero (0) points for that Race. Regardless of what car they are in, the only drivers who will receive points are those that actively start and finish a Race.

Finishing Position:
1st place gets 40 points, 2nd place gets 35, 3rd place gets 34, 4th place gets 33 points and so on in decrements of one point per position, with 36th-40th place earning 1 point. The Game will be scored based on the final Race results tabulated by NASCAR Timing and Scoring.

Stage Points:
Drivers who are running 1st through 10th at the conclusion of Stage One (1) of the Race will receive stage points, starting with 10 points for 1st place, nine points for 2nd place, down to one point for 10th place. Drivers who are running 1st through 10th at the conclusion of Stage Two (2) of the Race will also receive Stage Points, starting with 10 points for 1st place, nine points for 2nd place, down to one point for 10th place. A driver’s Stage One (1) and Stage Two (2) points will then be added together for their Total Stage Points for that Race.

Bonus Points - Pole Winner:
5-point bonus for picking the pole winner for that week. This pick locks before pole qualifying, typically on the Friday before each Race.

Bonus Points - Stage 1 Winner:
10-point bonus for picking the winning driver for Stage 1 of that week.
