Congratulations. The main thread on the MSB got anchored.

Make sure to start new threads each week and deal with the barrage of NASCUUR AIN'T A SPORT LOL in every thread.

Oh well bro, life goes on

Up 2 more spots in the league to #8

Talladega this weekend. In doing research for my picks, I came across this at one of the sites I use:

"The violent, multi-car wrecks that have become a staple of restrictor-plate racing can wipe out dozens of drivers at a time. An entire fantasy lineup could be wiped out in the matter of seconds this weekend. That's just the nature of this beast, and while there is no perfect strategy for picking drivers who will survive to the finish, you can minimize the potential damage, at least in the long run."

Word.

It is quite a 'roll of the dice' weekend for sure. On one hand you don't want to 'waste' a premium driver for a potential 30th+ place finish that's completely out of their control, but of the active former winners @ Dega, it's pretty much all 'big' names, rarely does a long shot actually win.

I enjoy playing the fantasy games, but honestly, I'd probably enjoy the races more if I didn't.

About 5 or 6 races and then the rosters will be interesting with more gambles

Going to have to use a lot of middle of the pack drivers soon. Luckily, I haven't touched my Chevy drivers and this week looks promising.

Easiest way to save a driver is making him your winner. If it works out you get the extra 30 bonus points and don't have to burn them. Basically like using all 6 drivers.

Yep. Worked great for me this week. Taking Harvick and ford for the wins. I would’ve gained an additional 20 points if I wouldn’t have switched the first 2 stages to Larsen this morning.

Bump for Kansas week and the return of the Kenseth. Here's to selecting a lineup, and hoping my phone works while I'm out on the water in case I have to sub a driver out.

Almost a Truex win, I didn’t even know the race was tonight until 3/4 the way through, seems the rest of y’all caught on to my method of just picking Harvick to win every week...

Bump for the Sports Gambling news today. I'd dump playing fantasy nascar in a heartbeat if I could bet @ the track like horse racing each week ....

I'm pretty confident in my ability to know who's got the best chances of top 10 runs each week. This would actually give me incentive to drive the short distance to watch a Nascar race @ Texas again.

Anyone else have trouble setting their lineup today?

I had an update last night, so maybe that's the problem.
