A few years ago, a couple of MLB players got into a fight over their fantasy league.

I had to quit. I didn’t feel like paying $125 a year. I never win. I’m usually decent, but not in first or second. The whole point of fantasy for me was to have an excuse to hang out. We used to do a baseball league and have a massive live draft, a trophy, etc. It was fun, and a great way to keep up with the game. Sadly, they decided they didn’t want to continue because without money, it wasn’t worth their time.

I used to be very deep into it, more than 5 leagues every year, was the commissioner of one, etc…

Then about 5 years ago I quit all together, it just wasn’t fun anymore. I started back up last year. I’m only playing 1 league, in person draft, low stakes, but people still care ($70/person). It’s fun again.

I also now bet on games
