for 1 im not on all the time, especially during the day.
2, i generally dont read your proposals, actually. I assume half of them are jokes and not official offers.

Any of you guys interested in Britt? I'd like to keep him to see if he can pick up where he left off but may need to move him to get a little depth(I have none).

I'd like him but I don't have the pieces

Cool. I had him last year and those first two games were awesome. Would love to keep him but I need backups. Can't bank on all 3 RBs staying healthy all year.

Just for the hell of it, I went back and looked at the trades so far based on draft picks alone to see how people "improved" their drafts. After all, with only one game played and with no major injuries, one would think that we would still value the guys we picked early. (No, this doesn't mean anything, except that we probably drafted way too early).
Here are the results:
Gyno has turned the 1.12, 2.01, 4.01, 8.01, and 13.12 into the 4.03, 4.08, 7.05, 7.10, 8.12, and 9.07. Eliminate the common rounds, and he turned a 1st, 2nd, and 13th into a 4th, 2 7th's, and a 9th. Ouch!! Don't know many people who would make that trade prior to the draft.
PCT has turned the 2.08, 4.08, 6.08, and 7.05 into the 2.01, 3.08, and 5.08. Move up 7 spots in the 2nd and gain a 3rd and 5th for your 4th, 6th and 7th. I'd take that.
Kash turned his 9.07 into a 13.12, but we know he was feeling benevolent that day.
DCB turned the 3.08 and 5.08 into a 2.08 and 6.08. I think most of us would gladly move up a round early in the draft and move back a round late in the draft.
PIIHB turned the 1.01 and 8.12 into a 1.12, 4.01, and 8.01. Not horrible, but I think most of us would want more than a 4th rounder to move from 1st to last in the 1st round. OK, when you look at it that way it is horrible. Someone flipped PIIHB over and PIIHB.
Last, but certainly not least...Drew turned the 4.03 and 7.10 into the 1.01. Anyone else willing to give up their 4th and 7th for the #1 overall?
I think we've been calling the wrong guy a used car salesman. The difference is he's closing sales and making a good living at it. Nice job.

Well hell. I don't want to be labeled as that guy.
Keep in mind that 4.01 should have gone higher but was in a holdout. The 4.03 should have been a first rounder if he wasn't hurt. Essentially I turned 1.10ish, really 4.03, (Mathews) and 7.10 (Torrey) into 1.12(Sproles) and 4.01(Wallace)
Then Wallace and Sproles into 1.01.
The pick that put me in that position was Mathews in the 4th, and the fact that Torrey went crazy in the pre-season.

If they should have gone higher, the people who wanted them should have picked them higher. Not much has changed since the draft. Mathews perhaps comes back a little earlier than we thought at that time. I know I would have grabbed him in the 3rd if I didn't already have 2 RBs. I skipped Sproles and Wallace being on your team since I was only looking at the net result. If I can turn a used PS3 into a new car through a series of a hundred trades, the net result is that I got a new car for a used PS3.
Again, I think the main thing that can be taken from this is that we drafted way too early and people got bored and a little antzy with their draft selections. None of the individual trades in themselves were without logic, and I understand why people did them. I don't agree with some of them, but I understand them.

Foster is a time bomb without Tate
And I thought sproles went in the 1st or 2nd.
I'm in too many leagues

We definitely drafted way too early.

He did. That was Gyno's 1.12 in the analysis above. Again, I didn't include him for Drew because he was a pass-through on his team. He didn't draft him and doesn't still have him. He was just used as a trading tool to get Foster.
