4.9 yard average?

Best was 4.6 and scored 112 in 6 games
Kevin, who has played a full 16 game season, scored 115 in 7 games active...but only 4 carries his first game active

if Kevin does't get injured...which I know is a risk....he scores as well as a RB1.

Mathews has only once gone 5 games w/o missing a game...and that was an 8 game stretch with a bye week

Tots, how highly do you value Britt given the 1 game suspension announcement?

Then why do you keep sending trade requests for him?

I didn't say he had a low average. I said he doesn't get yards. He doesn't get enough touches and they are shopping for his replacement right now. You offer the same trade with Bradshaw instead and I'll consider it.

Would have been better if it was a 3 game suspension so he didn't try to come back too early. His knee still needs about 1 month to be back. I like him though as a high upside guy

Ok, trying to figure out an offer that would get me Megatron. I know I would have to give up a good bit but would like to have that Staff/Calvin connection.

Probably none

His performance this preseason has solidified him as a top 4 overall pick

I'm so excited to have him on a couple of my other teams.

But soon they will triple team him and he won't catch a pass for the entire year. And if Stafford gets hurt then you can kiss his numbers goodbye.

I understand what you are saying

"Murray and Mathews are big names"

but please break it down by points

celek vs Gronk
Murray vs Smith
Mathews vs brown

Has nothing to do with names.

celek (158) vs Gronk (240) +82
Murray (233) vs Smith (165) -68
Mathews (216) vs brown (175) -41

You also wanted:
Smith (224) vs DHB (193) -31

That's -58 for Drew. This is using the projections of David Dodds, the top guy at Footballguys.com. He is consistently rated in the top 5 of experts when they look back at preseason rankings versus actual performance.

Using my personal projections or the projections of the other Footballguys staff, the discrepancy gets larger, mostly because Dodds undervalues Mathews compared to most.

Yahoo is not the only projection service out there, and frankly, most experienced fantasy football owners would look just about anywhere else before looking to Yahoo for projections. I appreciate them for their free league management tools, but that's about it.

Redskins released RB Tim Hightower.
Hightower was already lacking burst and elusiveness before he tore his ACL last year. Now just 10 months removed from surgery, he wasn't ready to contribute. That leaves Evan Royster, Roy Helu and Alfred Morris as a three-headed backfield for Mike Shanahan entering Week 1. We still like Helu to eventually emerge as the only one in the trio with difference-making talent

I have been thinking Daniel Thomas would be a good fit there.
