I woudlnt mind trading Sproles if anyone is interested.
try drew orleans for murray and mathews
2- Demarco Murray, RB
4- Ryan Matthews, RB
7- Torrey Smith, WR
for
1- Darren Sproles, RB
6- Vincent Jackson, WR
9- Anquan Boldin, WR
I don't think its fair, because I'm not so high on Sproles...but not high on RM or DM either(will miss like 10 games between them)

Big Ben over Peyton Manning?
Big Ben has been a top 12 QB once in last 4 years, and twice in the last 8 years.
He's one of the most overvalued QBs in fantasy every year. He's averaging 20 TDs/year since 2007.

Interesting stuff from this article on TEs
quote:
Tight ends are the deepest position in Fantasy this season, which opens the door to some interesting draft strategies.
quote:
There's only one rule you must follow with tight ends this season, and it's applicable in all formats, all league sizes and all other draft strategies. Ready? Here goes: You reach, you lose.
Some secret, huh? You probably didn't need me to tell you to not reach for a tight end. Fine, then take (or leave) my advice: you should never panic on drafting a tight end this summer because no matter when you need a reliable one, one (or two) will be there.
quote:
Plus if you're spending a Top 25 pick on a tight end, you're definitely passing up on some great talent at the other key Fantasy positions. You will see others in the league get sick value on tight ends later in the draft, too.

Sproles?

Gyno, I'm on my phone so I can't look at numbers, but how would something like Jennings, BJGE, and Bush for Sproles and Nelson look?
Posted on 8/16/12 at 12:32 pm to DCBJR6
The hell dude? Just taking my offer and applying it to his players?

I like Sproles and Nelson. I thought you and Tots were working in something anyway? Saw earlier you said you sent him a deal. Just keeping my options open!
Posted on 8/16/12 at 12:36 pm to DCBJR6
Didn't send a deal yet. Trying to figure out what's best.
Isn't law firm hurt though?

At this point it's a pretty lateral move I think, though I'd rather Sproles/Nelson to Jennings/BJGE. Personally, I think Sproles outscores BJGE and Nelson and Jennings will be pretty close in numbers.

The injury is not considered serious, and Lewis said Green-Ellis might practice later this week.
Just soreness like Sproles. I feel like almost every player has some type of bump in the pre season. Probably part of why it's tougher to trade early...

Is there something I could add to give you a boost or any players I could change out? Anything particular you'd like to upgrade and are looking to do?

from that article
quote:
Everyone expects both to continue their dominance at the position in 2012. That's why their average draft position has been between 20th and 25th overall. Are they worth a second-round pick? In PPR leagues and leagues that count tight ends as receivers, most definitely
and the flexpoint was taking Graham and Gronk
gates fell to me, so I grabbed him BPA..but other TEs were BPA to me later and I had to pass, even tho I wanted to horde them all

Is Graham untouchable?
Sproles ---- > Graham
Nelson ------> TRich
You get Owen Daniels too.
Kash speak: I'll take on TRich's knee injury, shitty online, and the fact that he plays BAL and PIT 4 games out the year. You replace him with Sproles.
You take Beanie Wells out of your flex and insert Jordy Nelson.
You take a hit on replacing Graham with Daniels, obviously.
