He looked pretty damn good yesterday. I've got the top waiver in my league and don't want to use it to handcuff. But I'm light at RB and think I might have to.

Didn't get to watch game. Just curious how many carries Tank got before/after the ETN fumble at goal line? Who else is available on waivers at RB in your league? I hope it doesn't turn into a timeshare as ETN owner, but Tank is a good RB and you assure yourself of that backfield with burning the waiver.

Not sure. Etienne is known for his ball security so I doubt the coaching staff would limit him to make some kind of point.

This is my fear. Etienne is definitely the 1a, and I don't see that changing, but it seems they want to carve out and early down role for Tank. I'm not sure if I want to waste a top waiver on him.

Not good.

I feel like Tank showed enough to get more carries. Not really worried about Etienne's fumble though.

You should have already rostered Bigsby if you have Etienne.

They’ve wanted to get him involved for 2 years now. They have repeatedly said they want to give Etienne some help. If Bigsby is playing well by all indications from the team he’s going to share the load to an extent. No idea if that’s 30 or 50% but he looked very decisive with nice burst yesterday.

In your situation, not knowing who is on your waiver wire, but assuming the typical available players in a 12 team league, I would probably only have Isaiah Likely over him (if he's even available in your league).

Think of it like this

- If Etienne plays the whole season, is Tank Bigsby ever going to crack your lineup?

- If Etienne were to get hurt, would Tank Bigsby be an auto start over anyone else you have on your roster for that spot or available on waivers?

If the answer to both of those is yes, it’s a great move

If the answer to 1 is no and 2 is yes…. I think it’s a bad move, why burn top waiver assuming your guy gets hurt instead of waiting for the inevitable great RB to become available on waivers

If the answer to both questions is no, then I’m assuming you wouldn’t have made the thread

Yes 100%.

I’m looking at all the rosters and timeshares and Tank actually seems like a starter caliber. I’m usually not a fan of handcuffing but I can’t afford to lose Etienne. If I thought Tank was a jag I wouldn’t care.
