Dude, my RB's in the league I picked him are:
McCoy, Forte, Blount, Bush, and now Scott
I don't need him as a savior.
But judging by your response, I'm for sure you probably made fun of everyone who drafted Foster last year

Clearly you are pretty conservative with how you play things.
But I'm sure Knowshon and Beanie are gonna lead you to fantasy gold this year.

He wasn't drafted in any of the leagues I played in.
Most people were going high on D. Thomas, and after he did nothing post week 2, people got keen on Lloyd.

You are basing your assumption on the idea that Scott is a rental.
IMO he's more talented than Benson. He's certainly more explosive. If Scott steps in and blows up, why would they go back to Benson FT? You don't stop giving people the ball when they play well. He averages 4.48 a carry, which is about .6 yards better than Benson over the course of his career.
To me, Scott is just the more talented player. Frankly, it's puzzling they didn't move toward Scott as the starter sooner...and if he's a dud, well you didn't drop anything noteworthy for him, so what?

No, you are just making everyone else out to be making more of this than they are.
One guy dropped Demarco Murray for him? No one is rushing out to drop Peterson or even Fred Jackson for Scott, or expecting him to do that. But when it comes to dropping a handcuff what's the difference besides than Scott has a chance to own his gig and the others probably don't sans injury?

Benson isn't injured. He will be back in 3 games.
Foster isn't injured for the year. He will be back in 3 games or less.
Even if Tate and Scott shine, they will still only split time with Foster and Benson when they come back. They aren't going to all of a sudden carry the ball 30 times while Foster/Benson ride the pine. This diminishes all 4 guys' value.
Like I said, I own the backups. Im starting Tate this week, in fact. I just dont agree that they are the answer for the season.
