Between Peterson and McCoy yes

Just the season before Charles turned in this season

For my number one pick I want more consistency. Look how many games he absolutely sunk me for in 2012

Never again

5 freaking TDs...is it unbelievable in the crazy NFL to think the chiefs may revert back to suckage or mediocrity hurting Charles' fantasy value?

Incredibly consistent on a yearly basis

Look at 2012, that's 4 games I automatically lost because my #1 player disappeared entirely. Including week 14

If that's how I separate him from Peterson and McCoy (2 other top flight backs) that's not crazy

Peterson is Peterson
McCoy has several things going for him I like

I pick 2nd, I'll have mccoy

I mean, I agree with your rankings. I have AP, Mccoy, then Charles. Just saying Boom or Bust describes someone like Tavon Austin; not Jamaal Charles

The Chiefs were horrible in 2012. Wasn't Brady Quinn starting games? With Reid as the head coach Charles will continue to beast.

Came here to post this. Westbrook was a good example of how much of a monster JC can be.

I wouldn't call him boom or bust generally speaking but when the conversation is limited to 3 awesome players, the nitpicks are hard to find

And for my 2012 season (I also had forte who was a dud that year) it cost me dearly

I'm just saying I like this Ferrari over this Lamborghini. We're not comparing him to lamar miller

What's to say with a tougher schedule and NFL parity they won't suck again

IMO, AP has the biggest question mark of all 3. He has a new coach. They are all great, though.

They could, but Reid's rb's usually do well in fantasy.

And that's the only reason I'm drafting McCoy. I took Charles off for the above reasons, and I went with McCoy for all of the reasons states earlier

For standard, this is because the majority of carries are taken by AP and Charles, right? And catches (the actual reception) don't count?

Yes

McCoy's numbers will be a good bit lower than last year because Sproles is going to take AT LEAST 15-20% of his touches, and may end up take closer to 25-30%. Book it.

Sproles is the perfect backup for McCoy and will be used heavily in the regular season so they can keep McCoy healthy. He will still put up very good fantasy numbers, but I don't think he will be the #1 back in the league this year.

Lol this is just my opinion, but I would take AP #1 in a standard league without hesitation.

Chip Kelly is a very good coach so I'm sure he knows that McCoy isn't going to hold up if he continues to work him the way he did last year. I just think they scooped up Sproles for a reason and it was to take 20-25% of McCoy's snaps and keep him healthier for the later games.

That being said, McCoy was the first pick in one of my leagues, and I prefer Charles and AP. Take it with a grain of salt.

yeah but the giants, cowboys and redskins run defenses are all atrocious.

that's 6 big time games in the bank IMO...that's tough to pass up, otherwise I'd roll with Peterson...but I'm targeting Patterson and I don't like to put too many eggs in one team basket...Charles has fricked me over twice...really for me it was McCoy, Peterson and lacy...and I'm worried that I'm so high on lacy that i'll get impulsive and take him 2nd overall, I can't go for upside with lacy over established guys, one is a freak, the other has an equally good situation.
