alright Lee, yes power was slightly abused. I admit, but overall pretty harmless and I would have done it if the trade were involving wise guy and dan or dan and nature boy. Bullets were flying, decisions had to be made.

You going to any road games this year?

First time since '94 I won't be going to any.

I'm sure late Friday night/early Saturday morning I'll probably say frick it and head up to the Plains next weekend, though.

Power was abused, thank you for admitting that. I just wanted you to understand why I was a little perturbed....I don't like quick changes with not warnings....but like I said, I would not have vetoed the trade....

Just tough to get away for a weekend. I'm sure I'll be in Atlanta and, of course, Miami.

I didn't have a problem with it. It was being openly discussed in this thread prior to the trade going through.

Last year in one of my leagues the commish traded Tim Tebow and McGahee for Arian Foster and Philip Rivers about 15 minutes before kickoff and pushed it through. And the team he traded with was in last place and out of the playoff race at that point

I'm more miffed that the Mish can bail on deals he agreed upon.

I think I should be paid a sufferance task.

Dan you rejected the deal in place, low balled me, and caused me to leave the table,

but to make it up to you I'll take the headache of britt off your hands for the ever reliable Amendola...Deal?

I actually agree with Lee on this one. I'm a little shy about changing the rules midstream. I agree it was a no harm sort of thing, but in the future, run this stuff past the league.

And of course, the rest of the league can expect this same treatment on future deals.

I believe I stated as much

and if someone had a pending trade in which they could have started someone in lastnight's game but couldn't then I wouldn't have pulled the trigger on it.

High ankle sprain. The worst. Worse than being officially out. Cause now he'll probably try and play at some point and be a shell of himself.
