Nothing is firm, I am fine with that. 7 teams wont make the playoffs, i just dont know that close to half of that 7 should pay a fee. But it doesnt matter to me

Make it two teams. $50 to third place.

Sounds fair

I am open to any payout, just wanted to people to think about it. You run the table at 13-0 in the regular season in a 14 team competitive league and you wonder why you get crumbs - just want to prevent griping in the future

There is still an extra $25 if the weekly payouts are $25

Oh I agree. I think Swam may be on an island here

$325 to regular season champ then

Overall champ -- $800
Regular season -- $325
Runner-up -- $300
Third place -- $50
$25 Weekly payouts
Bottom two teams pay $25 each

I've always been on that island. I'm not fighting that fight of emails that went into two weeks prior to the start of the season for three straight seasons.

But yeah, $625 going out for participation tropheys.

Regular season also rewards the random schedule and luck.

Runner up you can come in 7th and not win anything really and take home some of the true champ's money.

I think it's important to note that regular season champ gets the only first round bye, which is a huge advantage.

If the playoffs payout $1200 then even a 10% win expectancy upgrade (no idea what a first round bye is actually worth, just guessing) is increasing your expected value by $120

Just another thought to consider. I'm fine with any of the options

It's a top 7 bottom 7 scoring. It's worth something to come out on top of that format. If it was h2h i would agree with you.

If one truly has the best team they will come out with $1125

Come out with at least* $1125

Can still win weekly money.

Oh yeah, you're right.

I still have FSBDL on my mind where my team is running into buzzsaws week after week.

I understand your stance, I champion for heavy payouts to winners in h2h

I say we give MWG proposal a whirl this year. We can see how it plays out and have the option to change it in years to come if we feel it's not fair
