Which RB tandem do you think is among the best to grab?

There are a few obvious ones like Kamara and Ingram. Those will be a bit more difficult to get though, if you are drafting later in the first round.

Lets say you already have a solid RB1, and handcuffing 2 backs is your next best option. Which two are you going with?

I got burned by Ajayi last season, but luckily I struck gold with Hunt. However, I kind of like the idea of Ajayi, with Clement this year.

I usually also stay away from Patriots backs, but Burkhead/Michel could be a good combo if you can get your hands on both.

Given my situation this season (with Hunt as a keeper and a late first round draft slot) I don't know if picking another RB in the first round will be an option. McCaffery may be my only option when I'm up, and he may very well be gone.

I have a few others on my radar in the 3rd and 4th, but I'm thinking it may come down to be having to get creative with my RB situation in this particular draft.

Which pair do you guys like?

I think you’re generally losing out on available points by running two RBs from the same team. The saints last season were obviously an exception to the rule, but generally one RB won’t score as much as you could get from starting another RB that isn’t second fiddle on their team

Seems like my options may be limited though.

Hunt is locked in. McCaffery may, or may not be an option. If I do land him then I shouldn't have to go this route.

If I miss on McCaffery it means I'll be pretty strong at WR though. Its just going to leave me having to get creative at RB.

By the time it comes back around to me in the 3rd I'll be looking at Ajayi, Lamar Miller type backs. Its possible Ingram could be there, but not likely. If Ajayi is my only option, then Clement is almost a must get for me later. Just for safety.

I agree it's not an ideal situation, but that's the cards I'll be dealt most likely.

Do whatever you want that makes you feel good about your team. But you have a lot of options besides Corey clement for another RB

I don't feel good about my RB situation though. That's why I'm here

Hunt is my keeper in the 8th round. I'm not very confident I'll get nearly as much as I got from him last year, so even with that keeper I'm still scrambling at RB. Here's what it looks like.

Bell, D. Johnson, Kamara, Hunt, Mixon, Gurly, Zeke are all kept. So the end of the first round will be people with 2nd round ADP's.

By the time it gets to me at 11, Fournette, Barkley will for sure be gone. Gordon is a long shot to be there. McCaffery may or may not be available. If he is available at 11, I'll probably grab him unless I totally love a WR that's available. I'm leaning McCaffery though.

Top of 2nd Round- no RB to pick here. Unless I reach on maybe Ingram.

3rd/4th- in my slot I'm looking at Ajayi, Miller being there with Ingram a long shot. (This is where my Clement idea comes in. I actually like Clement late, and having him may make me feel a bit better about having Ajayi.)

5th/6th- here is where the Burkhead/Michel option comes in. I'm hoping to have 2-3 RBs by this point, but if weird stuff happens and I dont, I will have to grab these two.

7th/8th- Hunt kept in the 8th. I have a RB I like here as well, but I would rather be set by here and looking at possibly a QB.

I know there are other RBs that I'm leaving off, that would be better options. However, I don't see them being possible gets, without taking them 1 1/2 rounds above ADP. If one of them fall into my lap, then that obviously changes everything.

There aren't many backs worth handcuffing, IMO. One of the only ones worth it this year, in terms of a true handcuff, would be Dal Cook-Latavius Murray in MINN.

Cook is another keeper. Forgot to put him on that list.

Maybe not in a traditional sense, but there are a few teams that will have two startable backs. New Orleans, Atlanta, Tennessee. I don’t think I’d handcuff Cook, if he goes down they’ll probably just throw the ball a ton. Might try to handcuff Kareem Hunt if I ended up with him.

You think Drake can handle a full workload over 16 games?

I know he was a piece player at Bama, you think he can hold up?

Dude looks good, I took him in one Sunday.

thoughts on Drake over 16 games and if he can handle it?

I’d expect him to miss 3-4 games with an injury here and there. Unfortunately that’s just the way his career has gone. He’s suffered some real bad luck type injuries. He isn’t a small guy but tends to run more physically than I think his body can handle. If I had him in the starting lineup for 12 weeks though, that’s a damn fine ROI for an RB2. Drake is one of the few legitimate homerun hitters in the league at tailback. What worries me more than injuries is what I expect to be a putrid passing game, and Gore vulturing goal line carries.
