Should he be dropped? I’ve been holding on to him for so long but it’s not looking good. I only have 5 bench spot and we don’t do IR so he taking up one of my bench spots

Last thing I read, it's not really looking good.
But it always come down to who are you trying to pick up and who else could you drop.

Will Austin Ekeler play in Week 10?
Austin Ekeler recently displayed a video on social media that showed he had started running again. Now, Ekeler fans might have been excited by the prospect of his return; unfortunately, he wasn’t ready to suit up in Week 9.

Initially reported by Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Chargers’ RB Austin Ekeler suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain during the team’s Week 4 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It later came out by Ekeler himself during a live stream that part of the tendon essentially ripped off the bone, which is much closer to a Grade 3 injury.

Austin Ekeler might be getting closer to playing, but fantasy managers might need to have patience as Week 10 is very much in doubt

Does not sound like he’ll play this week but Week 11 could happen.

His production may drop a bit when he comes back with Ballage, Kelly and Jackson all seeing carries though.

Maybe for your playoff run if you're going to make it. Maybe he's 75% right now? Week 12 possibly, but then what are you getting? Ramping up and controlling reps? That was a horrific injury. I'm keeping him in 2 leagues but tempering expectations. Maybe he's a force again by Week 14 in the playoffs?

On a side note, I follow this guy. Great injurie updates.

A buddy offered me Ekeler in a trade this week, and i found this guy, too. He definitely doesn’t paint a rosy picture ROS. I declined the offer based on the chance of reinjury and the possibility that they’ll ease him through the rest of the season since they’re out of the playoff race.

Losing him probably killed me in two leagues. He's a PPR Machine when healthy. The other thing to consider is why would they even put him on the field this year if they don't make the playoffs? They're 2-6. Why risk him?
