Figured it's worth a shot...seems like he's locked in his position as #2 receiver for the Lions...and Lloyd has been lackluster all season. Hope this pays out.

Dude - I'm in the exact same situation as you.
Shorts v.s. Broyles...especially with crap weather in Buffalo. My instincts are saying use Broyles, but I would have to pick him up off of waivers and it'd be my last acquisition I can make for the season. For that reason, I just can't do it and gotta roll with Shorts.
Hope it works out for both of us.

Exactly. Everywhere has Shorts higher ranked and Vontae Davis came back this week for Indy and they supposedly plan to play sides which might limit Broyles while helping Johnson have someone else cover him.
I miss the days when I had a ton of injuries and didn't have these decisions.

Started him over Decker today. Was a gut move, because Decker hasn't done shite in 3 weeks and I have to win to make the playoffs

I couldn't sit Nicks or Decker which meant I had to choose between Shorts and Broyles for flex. I know Decker has been a big disappointment the last few games but Decker might be facing an undrafted free agent for much of the day.
